Information You Send
A name, phone number, or address entered in a search form is submitted to the third-party provider that supplies those results. Our servers do not retain a copy of those searches. When you email us, we receive the information in your message and use it to respond.
Automatic Technical Data
Our host keeps routine server-log information such as IP address, browser type, pages requested, and time of access. We review it in aggregate for maintenance and usage patterns. Cookies or comparable tools may support basic analytics and, where used, advertising measurement.
How Data Is Used
We use this limited data to run and repair the service, measure overall traffic, and improve its pages. We do not sell visitor lists or create individual visitor profiles.
External Services
Links may lead to county and state portals, libraries, archives, and third-party search services. Their own policies govern information submitted on their systems, including sponsored search results supplied by an outside provider.
When Data Is Shared
Hosting and support providers process server logs on our behalf. Analytics and advertising partners may receive the automatic information described above. Other disclosure occurs only when valid legal process requires it.
Safeguards
The service uses an encrypted connection, and logs are retained only for the purposes described here. No account, password, or visitor profile is created on this site.
Visitors Under 18
The service is intended for adults and does not target children. We do not knowingly collect a minor’s personal information. If a minor has sent us information, contact us so it can be deleted.
Your Choices and Requests
You may have rights to ask for access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information a service keeps, depending on where you live. Michigan’s reviewed sources did not identify a comprehensive state consumer-privacy statute. Because this service keeps very little, requests are usually limited to the contact mailbox and server logs. Use the Contact page to ask. Public records controlled by Michigan, Ottawa County, or Allendale Township offices must be addressed to the custodian.
Policy Updates
A revised policy will appear here. Continued use after its posting indicates acceptance of the revision.
